About Evansville, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Evansville is an exciting and busy Indiana town with a great deal to offer. With a population of over 100,000 people it is not a huge city but is also far from a tiny town. It’s an ideal place to live if you want some city amenities but not all of the urban traffic, pollution and other issues. It is the 3rd largest town in Indiana and is situated on the Ohio River, making it a wonderful place for trade as well as for boating and recreation. The weather in this part of the country is seasonal with cold winters and hot summers. That means that there is something for everyone whether you love to build snowmen or sun yourself in a bikini, you will not be disappointed.

Sports are of great importance in this part of the world and both summer and winter sports are played and observed by almost all residents. Historic Bosse Field is a historic baseball stadium located in Garvin Park that was built in 1915. It is the 3rd oldest ballpark in the country that is still being used regularly. It is beat out only by Wrigley Field and Fenway Park. This is a lovely place to take in the sun and beautiful weather that the Indiana summers bring. However, if you are looking to get indoors and away from the winter cold, then you aren’t going to be let down. A newer facility, called the Ford Center, opened in 2011. This facility mainly used for basketball, ice hockey, and concerts.

The city is also home to The University of Evansville. This college runs a highly respected and sought after theater program. It is one of the top rated drama and theatre programs in the country and holds 6 productions a year. This university has been asked to perform at The Kennedy Center more times than any other program in the US. Along only with Yale, this university’s students have been asked to perform at the Kennedy Center without prior qualification. It is considered one of the most prestigious theatre programs in the country, and even in the world, and is a must visit for any serious lover of theatre and the arts. If you are looking to get indoors and beat the heat or get shelter from the cold (depending on the season) you simply must check out one of their fabulous shows.
