Service Technician - HVAC

Lappe Heating & Air Conditioning has been family-owned and operated for over 100 years, and we’re excited to welcome an experienced service technician to our growing team. As a family-first business, we value your time and work-life balance. Our low turnover speaks for itself—many of our team members have been with us for years.


We are a full-service HVAC company specializing in residential and light commercial systems. Our Service Technicians play a vital role in maintaining client comfort through seasonal maintenance programs and performing repairs when breakdowns occur.


Work start and end time: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday (weekends, overtime, and evenings as needed)

Employment type: Full-time

Qualifications needed for this position:

  • 5+ years of experience is a plus
  • Vanderburgh Journeyman's license is a plus (we will help obtain the license if you do not currently have one)
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagram and blueprints
  • Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience making repair and replacement decisions
  • Advanced customer service skills - must be personable & possess good customer relation skills
  • Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices
  • Must be willing to help with installs if needed

Install Technician - HVAC

Lappe Heating & Air Conditioning has been family-owned and operated for over 100 years, and we’re looking for an experienced Installer to join our growing team. As a family-first business, we respect your time and work-life balance. Our team enjoys long-term careers with us—many employees have been here for years thanks to our supportive environment.


We are a full-service HVAC company specializing in residential and light commercial projects. Our Installers are responsible for installing Carrier HVAC systems on new construction sites as well as handling residential and light commercial system replacements.


Work start and end time: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday (weekends, overtime, and evenings as needed)

Employment type: Full-time

  • 3+ years of experience is a plus
